Gabriel and Geo’s Painting did my entire house, both interior and exterior. I used Farrow and Ball paints in a matte finish. The work was exceptional. Not one drop spilled on the floor, perfect edges and the best painting job I’ve ever had done. Gabriel is extremely professional and nice, too. Geo did a great job painting my roof eaves and gutters. They say that painting is all about the preparation and he did a great job of power washing, wire brushing, and caulking prior to painting so the end result was fantastic at a reasonable price. I will be using him when I paint the balance of my house later this spring. In addition, I had some custom built-in cabinets installed in my office and he did a great job of sanding and filling in knots and pin-holes prior to priming and then painting the cabinets. Long post - sorry. Joke at the bottom tho! The guy in this photo is Gabriel Oliva. I met him early last year when working on a large project in New Braunfels. I’d been getting painting quotes that were just stupid high - when Gabriel came in his quote wasn’t *too* far off so I told him what my budget was and you’ll never guess what he did next - He met it! He had just moved from New Orleans and gave me a list of references to call, which I did and received the most glowing reviews from people in my season of life and was surprised to hear two of them were sad when he moved to SA. I can now see why. The deal including painting the interior and exterior of ~3k sq ft brick residential building as well as the new cabinets. His crew met every deadline even with half a dozen other contractors in his work space. Not only that but when you run into him - he’s just the absolute nicest guy you’ve ever met on the job. We’ve become good friends over the 3 projects we’ve worked on together, and I can tell you that there are very few contractors that earn my respect enough for me to tell my neighbors that they need to let come quote something - and Gabriel is one of those. I’ve already recommended him to a couple friends in Raintree and from what I understand they were as pleased as I was with the process every time he works for me and going so far as to refer him further. If I’m building a new construction, rehabbing an older home, or even letting (yeah right we know she does what she wants) my wife go crazy with the color samples in the living room - there’s no way I’ll call anyone else.
